2019 Novel Coronavirus Update

Tuesday Mar 10th, 2020

We know the ongoing situation with the 2019 novel corona virus (COVID-19) can be stressful and frightening. Family Health Medical Services continues to work closely with county and state health officials to monitor the situation.

The safety of our patients and our employees is our number one priority. If you are experiencing any of the following flu like symptoms such as fever, coughing, rash, vomiting, diarrhea, body aches or shortness of breath, we ask that you call the office before coming to your appointment.

Please do not come directly to the office without speaking to a member of our medical team.
To minimize risk of infection to all of our patients and staff, we are asking that patients coming in for an appointment be accompanied by no more than one adult family member or caregiver unless medically necessary.

Importantly, please continue to practice good hand hygiene.

- Refrain from touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
- Wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. Discard the tissue and clean your hands. If a tissue is not available, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve.
- Avoid shaking hands.
